nice,
you lose points for originality, but this is a very smoothly made game, very nice.

Awesome!
A comment though...
explosions... I don't know how big they are so I don't know how to watch out for my guys dying as a result of them. Could you make an indicator for that?
Marines are injured up to 6 squares away from the target square. Also the grenade might deviate one square (about a 30% chance). So to be absolutely safe, keep your marines 8 squares away.
Comments:
Firstly, what I like:
-The stars are pretty.
-The graphics (though unoriginal) are nice
-The concept is classic.
Secondly, what I don't like:
-The enemies have scripted movement. It feels weird and unnatural, the way they move... zigging and zagging... maybe change it up a bit or have them wander randomly instead of just back and forth.
-As one of the apt reviewers wrote, it feels like dragging a ship through honey. Speed EVERYTHING up by like 2x. That should do the trick.
-I notice that the player's ship is encased in a black box. It could use a transparency. If I get to close to a star, it disappears into the background and the squareness is also apparent if I get too close to an enemy when it blows up.
-PLEASE add 'wasd' controls as well. I never understood why game designers don't think of this more often...
bleh
I'm sure it would be more interesting if I knew who Suzy was... I like gadgets too though, means we have something in common! Wonder if she's single...
Wow...
I agree, this is an AWESOME defense game!
At first I thought it was too hard though... then I figured out that if your cursor is on the baddie then you do more damage and I was like 'I'm so dumb'...
It has potential...
but that's basically all it has. The engine is great but the game is boooring
cool
nice game! The whole thing was easy until the final boss... what a beast!
Nice
Embarassed to say a 30... and I took a psych class my first year of uni too! For the record, knowing Freud's dog has nothing to do with psychology :P
Nice to see academics on Newgrounds
